Nevidio Canyon: a responsible adventure guide

At the canyon entrance, the Komarnica disappears between the rocks, a feature connected with the name Nevidio, or Neviđbog. The first successful passage was recorded in 1965. The canyon is now accessible through organized tours, but it remains natural terrain that demands discipline and guidance.

The entrance area near Pošćenje also includes an attractive mountain landscape, lakes and the Skakavica waterfall, making it worthwhile even for guests who do not enter the canyon itself.

A tour combines walking on slippery rock, swimming, moving down natural obstacles and jumps or alternative passages selected by the guide. There is no single fixed experience: water level, group ability and the guide's assessment change how each section is approached.

Previous canyoning experience is often not required, but participants should be healthy, physically capable, comfortable in water and able to follow instructions. Age, weight and other participation conditions are set by the individual operator.

A reliable offer should clearly state the equipment, duration, transport, meals, group size, weather policy and guide experience. Prices and dates change, so they should always be checked directly rather than treated as permanent information.
